Dr. Muhammad Ammar Shafi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Management and Technology, Faculty of Technology Management and Business at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Statistics (2020), a Master’s in Statistics (2015), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics (2014). His academic and research work focuses on applied statistics, statistical modelling, fuzzy statistics, machine learning integration, and data-driven decision making in industry, healthcare, and business management. Dr. Ammar currently serves as Head of Department (Data Management) at the Strategic Planning and Risk Management Office and is actively involved in research and innovation initiatives within the university. His expertise includes multiple linear regression modelling, fuzzy logic applications, predictive analytics, time series analysis, and hybrid statistical modelling techniques. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed extensively to teaching, research supervision, curriculum development, and international collaborations. He has been invited as a speaker, lecturer, and keynote presenter in various academic and industry programs both locally and internationally. He is also affiliated with the Malaysia Institute of Statistics, reflecting his active engagement with the professional statistical community. Dr. Ammar has led and participated in numerous research grants focusing on predictive modelling, healthcare analytics, artificial intelligence applications, and organizational performance. His scholarly contributions include books, book chapters, conference proceedings, and numerous publications in reputable international journals. With strong expertise in statistical intelligence and data analytics, Dr. Ammar continues to contribute to advancing research, innovation, and evidence-based decision making across academia, industry, and public sector organizations.
