Eidayu Rosli is a seasoned Landscape Architect and Event Coordinator with more than 23 years of international professional experience covering Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, India, Qatar, and the Middle East. Her expertise spans landscape master planning, conceptual and detailed landscape design, urban design, technical coordination, project management, and site implementation. Throughout her career, she has worked with multidisciplinary consultants on large-scale township developments, public realm projects, waterfronts, parks, residential estates, tourism landscapes, and award-winning international design competitions. She is also an active contributor to industry programs through event management, public engagement activities, technical excursions, and symposium coordination. Eidayu holds a Master of Urban Design from UiTM and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where she consistently earned academic recognition including multiple Dean’s List awards, Best Designer Award, and Best Student Award at both diploma and degree levels. She is currently pursuing her PhD at UTM in the field of built environment and landscape studies. Professionally, Eidayu has played significant leadership roles in the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM), serving as Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Committee Member for the ILAM Southern Chapter from 2012 to 2026. She has been an ILAM Corporate Member since 2004 and was previously a member of the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA) from 2005 to 2015. Her contributions and design work have earned multiple accolades, including BCA Awards, BCA Greenmark Gold, Gold and Silver Awards in the World Landscape Planning Design Competition, and the IFLA Asia Pacific Excellent Award. She is also a multiple-time 1st Prize Winner in international design competitions such as Clementi Neighbourhood Park (Singapore), Al Khor Beach Development (Qatar), and Dubai Sports City (UAE). Her career experience includes serving as Senior Landscape Architect at Surbana International Consultants (2008–2017), prior to which she held key positions in established firms such as ACLA Singapore, ACLA Malaysia, Tierra Design, AEP Design, and Sitescape. Since 2017, Eidayu has been operating as a freelance Landscape Architect and Event Coordinator, taking on landscape design commissions, CSR programs, community workshops, technical excursions, environmental campaigns, and large-scale state-level public events. Her notable project portfolio includes local and international works such as Landscape Masterplan for Taman Metropolitan Kepong (Malaysia), Kuala Lumpur Landscape Masterplan (Malaysia), Alam Impian Township (Malaysia), Al Khor Beach Development (Qatar), Al Wakra Township (Qatar), Lusail Waterfront (Qatar), Chengdu Botanica Township (China), Celadon City Township & Central Park (Vietnam) and Amitabh Bachchan Countryside Villa (India). In addition to design, she has advised, coordinated and curated major and fringe events including during Hari Landskap Negeri Johor 2024, Johor Climate Action Symposium, ILAM Technical Excursion Series ( Malaysia and Singapore), and series of technical, art and cultural oriented workshops including IP Green Environmental Art and DIY Workshop, Puspanita Terrarium Workshop, Herbarium Documentation Project, CSR Bamboo Bridge Initiatives and many more. Eidayu’s strengths include strong creative vision, analytical problem-solving, multidisciplinary coordination, leadership in professional institutions, and the ability to manage complex design projects across diverse cultural and regional contexts.
