Md Ezam bin Md Daimon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial management, community development, and rural tourism. With over three decades of diverse leadership roles across corporate and entrepreneurial sectors, he is recognized as a visionary leader with a strong strategic mindset and deep commitment to community empowerment. He began his career with Mayban Finance Berhad in 1989, where he served as Branch Manager, overseeing branch operations, loan performance, and sales growth. His strong leadership and operational skills later led him to managerial positions in a Driving Institute and a Property Management Company, further refining his expertise in administration, customer relations, and project management. In 2008, he transitioned into the financial consulting industry, offering advisory services on investment strategies and financial planning. His career expanded internationally when he was appointed as General Manager at an Offshore Financial Consulting Company in Labuan (2012–2014), establishing strategic collaborations with international financial institutions. Today, Md Ezam continues to contribute actively to Malaysia’s community-based tourism and entrepreneurship ecosystem. He currently serves as Chairman of the Johor Homestay Association, Vice Chairman of the Malaysia Kampungstay & Homestay Association, and Deputy President of the Gemilang Traders Association Malaysia (Pontian Parliament). Under his leadership, numerous initiatives have been introduced to empower local entrepreneurs, uplift rural hospitality standards, and foster sustainable community-based economic growth.
